I have just stumbled across the most amazing place! The work below is from the Etsy shop Swan Bones Theater. The artist also has a blog and website. I do not remember the last time I was so excited about a discovery! Looking into these pieces I feel like I have fallen into a still, quiet dream.

Hello! I just saw your comment in my journal and wanted to thank you for following me, and also wanted to tell you how much I adore your blogs!! I just added Gypsea Tree -- your tastes are divine!! I love Swan Bones Theatre, her work is gorgeous, and Edward Gorey has been a lifelong love. Gypsies, steampunk, spooky stuff. Seriously, this is all that fills my brain at any given moment!
My poor blog is very new, hopefully it will develop over time. I'm still trying to get a feel for the whole blogging thing. :)
These are really evocative of the Victorian era; very cool.
Ah, great minds Laura...I came across that shop a little while ago too and I was as astounded as you! The colours, the images- just perfect! Didn't realise she had a webpage and blog, must look them up when I get a chance. That's what so wondeful about Etsy, all the treasures that are waiting there to be discovered. It's like the online version of the biggest and best artisan market or dusty old curiosity shop ever! Well, hope you're having a nice weekend :)
